With 36 holes and located in Chonburi, just 20 minutes from the beach town of Pattaya and 50 minutes from Bangkok's International airport - Suvarnbhumi, Burapha Golf Club is at the heart of Thailand's golf and the perfect place for any aspiring tour professional to hone their skills.

Designed by David Graham and Gary Panks, this 36 holes championship layout is hard to beat as it winds around lakes and climbs up into the local hills. It is one of Thailand's most challenging courses as the narrow fairways and small greens protected by difficult rough can be hard to find in often windy conditions - perfect to test your ability in controlling your ball flight and developing an array of short game shots needed to keep your score going.

Home to the Singha Pattaya Open, that has just celebrated it's 10th anniversary, a combination of all 4 nines have been used to stage professional golf tournaments showing the overall strength of the layout. 

The Singha Pattaya Open is normally held on courses B and D, Whilst other Singha Challenge events and Singha All Thailand Tour have been held on both A/B and C/D. Whichever course you play you can be assured of a strong, fair and enjoyable test, with the conditions always impeccable.

Burapha Golf Club was the venue for the Thailand Open in 2010 when the OneAsia Tour re-ignited Thailand's national event (won by Liang Wen-Chong). It has also played host to Asian Tour's Omega Tour Royal Classic, The Thailand Senior Open, Numerous Thai PGA events and The Amateur World Golf Championships. 

With a driving range that boasts a three tier grass hitting area, three main short game greens and a further short game area located in the middle of the resort, Burapha has everything a golfer could dream about to hone their skills on in preparation to play tournament golf.

The vast grass hitting area on the driving range provides the perfect place to focus on your long game and wedge skills, whilst the array of short game greens ensures that we can move from flat surfaces, to gentle slops and heavy slopes testing your ability to chip and putt under all conditions. 

The short game facility in the resort is nothing short of amazing, with a 'course condition' green surrounded by large areas to chip from, bunkers and is fully floodlit. Still in the resort area is a wedge practice ground where you can work on your shots from 25-75 yards, all from grass hitting areas.



As Pro Tour Golf College Thailand establishes itself we will work with Burapha Golf and Resorts to develop these facilities with plans to create a dedicated wedge area near the main driving range. All parties are really excited about the prospect of creating an unrivalled facility in this area of the game that is so vital to lowering your scoring.

Whilst a short drive from both Pattaya and Bangkok, Burapha's location 5KM from the Chonburi expressway is far enough from any bright lights that could distract you from your purpose - developing a stronger golf game that will reduce your scoring average!

Whilst the golf course is always busy, the practice facilities are very much under used, meaning we have a free run of all the facilities, giving you the opportunity to be fully engaged with all of the training set in a disciplined environment. No more will you have to fight for space on a chipping green of low quality, forced to hit the same shot over and over, leading to ineffective training.

Whilst the course is busy we are always able to secure tee times for both our weekly tournament day and for players wishing to play 9 holes after training. 

The accommodation on site is perfect, simple comfortable chalet style rooms on two floors, all overlooking both the golf course and the resorts' practice area. PTGC Thailand will be able to provide students with a very competitive room rate for staying on site and ensure bookings in this busy accommodation, especially in high season. 

For those looking for something a little cheaper there are one or two other guesthouses just outside the Golf Resort on the 5KM stretch back down to the Chonburi expressway.

The clubhouse has an excellent restaurant and PTGC will work with Burapha over time to try to ensure that there are plenty of healthy and nutritious options on the menu and provided at breakfast. 

The resort also has facilities for further fitness training which include a beautiful swimming pool, two tennis courts and plenty of space and area for fitness training. When the day is done they also have a spa on site to get a massage to help the muscles recover.
